The Salmon Arm Wharf reaches roughly 440 feet into Shuswap Lake from Marine Peace Park, and is recognized as the longest wooden wharf in North America. The curved pier is Salmon Arm's signature waterfront landmark — a place to stroll, fish, watch the sun set behind Mount Ida, or scan the Salmon Arm Bay shallows for western grebes, osprey and herons in one of BC's few protected inland estuaries. In summer, the park at its foot hosts the Wednesday on the Wharf concert series.
Seasonal details — concession and rental hours, event dates and any wharf maintenance notices — change through the year. The organization that manages the wharf can claim this listing to keep visitor information current.
